Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026.

Set up in 15 min

Peak traffic. Stock hits zero. Sales keep flowing. Ads optimised.

Happy Black Friday

Don’t let sold out products waste your most costly clicks. They auto-switch to pre-order, Notify me or in-stock recommendations.

Demo: on Black Friday morning, ad traffic lands on a sold-out size that has switched to pre-order and keeps taking orders. When stock arrives, pre-orders release oldest first. Over the weekend a shopper joins the Notify me list, and on Cyber Monday a sold-out boot shows in-stock picks.

Growing with brands like

When Black Friday is flying, Bloom turns sold out into no worries.

  • Peak CPMs.

You’re paying the year’s top price for every click this weekend.

  • Sold out by 9am.

Your best seller goes first, and the ads keep sending people to it.

  • A paid dead end.

A click on a Sold out page is spend with nothing to buy.

  • The 2am war room.

You’re up pausing sold-out products and editing ad sets mid-sale.

  • Campaigns go quiet.

Sold-out pages stop sending add to carts just when your campaigns need them.

  • Gone by Cyber Monday.

Shoppers who miss out buy elsewhere, and stay there for Christmas.

Revenue shouldn’t stop when stock does.

Set it once. It switches at zero.

Choose a path for each best seller. The moment it sells out, at 9am Friday or 2am Sunday, it switches on its own.

“I love the oversell limit and how Bloom switches to pre-order as soon as inventory hits zero.”
Tim, Head of Operations, HARA

You can restock. The button turns to Pre-order and keeps selling, paid in full at checkout.

  • It’s your theme’s own button, so the page looks like any other day.
  • Cap it at what your supplier can make. At the cap, it’s back to Sold out.
  • Your ship date shows on the product page, in the cart and on the order status page.
  • When stock lands, orders release oldest first.

You can’t promise a date. Notify me sits under the button and keeps the shopper for when it’s back.

  • Email or SMS sign-ups go straight to your Klaviyo list, with the exact variant.
  • Your Klaviyo back-in-stock flow messages them when it’s back.
  • See the potential revenue behind your sign-ups, and the variants they’re waiting on.

They won’t wait. Show the in-stock picks you’ve chosen under the button, so the sale stays in your store.

  • Choose picks for each sold-out product, with an override per variant.
  • Each pick links to its own product page.
  • Set them in a table or import a CSV.
“Pre-orders nearly doubled sales last week. We couldn’t have done it without Bloom!”

Leave the ads on all weekend.

Once your best sellers are set up, there’s nothing to pause at 2am and no ad set to edit mid-sale. The page your ad points at keeps taking pre-orders, sign-ups or a click to something in stock.

  • Pre-orders go through your normal checkout, paid in full.
  • Pre-order views and add to carts track in GA4, Meta and Klaviyo through your own pixels.
  • Your campaigns keep getting add to cart signals right through Cyber Monday.

You need 15 minutes. Black Friday is Friday 27 November.

No developer, no theme edits. Set it up the week before, then spend the weekend watching orders, not stock.

Setup14 min
  1. Install Bloom from the Shopify App Store.1 min
  2. Turn on the Bloom app embed in your theme editor.1 min
  3. Turn on pre-orders for the best sellers you can restock, one by one or by CSV.3 min
  4. Set an oversell limit and ship message for each one.4 min
  5. Connect Klaviyo and set up Notify me for the lines you can’t date.3 min
  6. Choose in-stock picks for shoppers who won’t wait.2 min

Then close the laptop. Every product you’ve set up switches at zero on its own.

Questions before the rush.

Do I have to watch stock all weekend?

No. Choose pre-order, Notify me or picks for each product before the sale, and each one switches the moment it sells out. Pre-orders go back to Sold out at your oversell limit.

Do I have to pause my ads when something sells out?

Not for the products you’ve set up. Their pages keep taking pre-orders, sign-ups or clicks to your picks, and pre-order views and add to carts track in GA4, Meta and Klaviyo through your own pixels.

Will it touch my theme in peak week?

No. It installs as a theme app extension with no code edits, and pre-orders use your theme’s own add to cart button, including quick view, quick buy and sticky add to cart.

How are pre-orders charged and shipped?

Customers pay in full at your normal checkout, up to the oversell limit you set for each variant. Your ship message shows on the product page, in the cart and on their order status page. When stock lands, orders are released oldest first, by hand or with auto-release.

Does it work with my Klaviyo flows?

Yes. Notify me sign-ups land in your Klaviyo list with the exact variant, and your back-in-stock flow emails or texts them. Pre-order placed, ship date updated and released events go to Klaviyo too.

Will it slow my store down on the busiest weekend of the year?

No. The storefront script loads asynchronously after your page, and its styles are cached at the edge.

Sell out Friday. Sell through to Monday.
